Time is changing…

Being a parent I also need to consider the world from a few different perspectives… 

The biggest realisation for me most recently is something that has always been there… but was maybe optional…

However this feels like it is an upcoming major reality… 

I feel like there will be no middle ground…

Previous

1. work to make ends meet
2. work and get paid awesomely to save excess to invest a little 
3. work and invest in building revenue generating assets (yes digital assets too) to decouple your hours from reward and leverage time spent

I think 1 and 2 are blending together…

For us and our kids…

So… what is obvious to me is 

Almost everyone cannot save our way to financial freedom…

Almost everyone cannot ‘work’ our way to financial freedom…

I feel like this will be for the kids too…

However we can INVEST our way to financial freedom 

And 

We can LEVERAGE our way to financial freedom…

In the past, I think we could have been comfortable and worked and saved our way… but now the train is going too fast now…

It’s a time of choice… 

I don’t think the middle ground is an option anymore…

So… 

The choice becomes one way or the other…

Yes you might play two hands at the same time for a while but I really feel like if there were 3 choices in the past only 2 exist now…

This will mean big identity shifts, priority adjustments and opportunity assessments done differently for a big percentage of people…

Fun times ahead…

And for me, I feel like I need to be extra aware to enable the kids to even have this as a choice…

Right now most of us can choose…
