Judging

But here goes…
This whole someone’s a 10 thing…
I don’t know where it started, I don’t know what it means but what I am worried about is…
Judgement…
Although it seems like it’s fun… it feels like there is certainly a grading, scoring language creeping in…
Maybe serious things enter our minds through an illusion of a joke…
I have never understood the language of rating people…
Especially people of the opposite sex…
Even when growing up, it made no sense to me, felt wrong, it felt hurtful to people…
The score is simply someone’s perception or set of judging rules…
And yes, this may be all fun and innocent on the surface but why has this infiltrated social now?
Why…
Especially in a time of new beginnings and what holds value, what holds truth, what is real is all up for grabs…
With people being desperate… a huge mental health problem… and all that stuff…
I truely believe that everyone is just doing their best with what they’ve got…
So, I’m not sure what this 10 thing is all about…
I hope it’s light and fun and not planting a seed for anything too serious…
Nature knows that everyone and everything has a role… we are all a part of the same system, same eco system… let’s lift each other up
