Blessing and A Curse
Jul 07, 2022I have a curse and a blessing...
My curse is that I hyper focus... which means I get lost in my task... which can span hours weeks days or months...
I forget to do most things like eat or exercise... they are not important when the outcome is close to the surface...
I need to harvest it while it’s there... before it disappears...
When I don’t hyper focus I’m the opposite... I flap around drifting...
My blessing is that I hyper focus... so what I can do, when I get there is massive amounts of work in a short amount of time...
In fact work that cannot be even achieved in shorter amounts...
Like diving to the bottom of the ocean... it needs to be done in one hit... and can’t be broken up into smaller dives...
So I then achieve things that can only be achieved by that deep work...
So it finally bubbled to the surface this week and finished off today with 7 hours straight of 42 lessons for a new course and program...
I can’t have a team help me film because the energy doesn’t work to a schedule...
But I can feel it coming... for days it gets clearer...
I have the tools to capture it and land it in this dimension...
Solo... uninterrupted...
The work becomes not my own...
I am also learning at the end of the lessons... from what just came out of my mouth...
It’s fun...
