What will happen in the next minute?

One of the things I have always wondered is... when we look back at civilisations in the past we think they were less advanced then us...

We see their writing on stone or caves as the evidence they have left behind of their intelligence...

But then there is that big anomaly of the pyramids and the same architecture spanning many continents...

What about us... if life stopped here... and in 1000 years our buildings consumed by the earth, swallowed up and broken down... what is left for the future civilisation to understand our intelligence...

The couldn’t read our books, they would have been broken down...

They certainly couldn’t log into Facebook...

The hard drives would have been consumed by the earth too...

All this time we spend creating content... evaporates...

So... are we the smartest to walk the earth? What do we really leave behind...

Maybe our only traces might be just a few holes in the ground and a few carvings in caves too?
