The ocean is my energy source and my friend

I think I am realising that not everyone wants to hang in or near the ocean all day.

It’s actually painful for me to not be near it or close to it... it’s like this constant friend with nothing but fun and excitement...

For me the ocean is full immersion in life...

It’s not a luxury for me, it is a necessity...

It is as important as the blood that runs through my veins... it inspired me and always has.

When I lived in the city 21 years ago I would drive up to the coast with my laptop and work at the beach.

Back then it was a Pentium 4 with 4 megs of ram and a trackball mouse. They cost $4400 and battery life was almost 1 hour.

I would sit in the car, with a power adaptor to charge the laptop from the cigarette lighter. I would park in a hill with views of the ocean and work on coding business software I would eventually sell to pharmacies all over Australia.
