Appreciate and be grateful...

 

For me, the last 10 years I would travel from Australia to the USA four times a year and catch up with people.

 

Over that time I would see the same people over and over... So yes some people 30-40 times...

 

Sharing stories, ideas, dreams and laughs...

 

Some I may never see again doe to different decisions and destinations may not overlap...

 

Today I found out that one guy, one of the friendliest and happiest, I will never see again...

 

Before social media and travel, I used to think about this a lot...

 

As a child after holidays I expected that I would never likely \see that person again...

 

When I travelled all over Europe playing tennis, the same... An encounter, a shared fun time at a tournament or something else...

 

Phones and social media maybe give us the ability to connect in between in person...

 

However... maybe... a false sense of security that you will see that person again...

 

Appreciate people... appreciate time together... be grateful on departure... You may never see them again because of your plans... or they may leave this earth...
